Sometimes we all just have to relax and have some mindless downtime. To me, having fun can mean watching a football game, playing with the kids, or taking something I have learned and doing something entertaining with it. Below are some fun things I have put together that I like to do on the computer. Some of them I wrote and created, others I found. Either way, I find them somewhat entertaining to amuse myself for a few minutes when I need a short break.
Tux Bot
Some time ago, I was bored and decided to write a small chatbot and embed it in a web site. This is the first implementation I put together. I found it to actually make some sense at times, and to be outright funny at others. My kids and their friends enjoy playing with it and that is probably the main reason I keep it up. The bot’s name is Tux Bot, please be sure to introduce yourself to it.
Tux Bot Meets Pancho Bot
After creating Tux Bot some years ago, I started wondering what a conversation between two chat bots would look like. Would they be able to hold a somewhat intelligent conversation with each other? I decided to find out and created his cousin Pancho Bot. I thought this was an appropriate name since I live in Texas. I jazzed up the presentation a bit and now know the answer.
